Carly Pope was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. As a child, Carly Pope has been a passionate dancer with professional training. Carly attended Lord Byng High School, where she participated in classic plays, such as “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The Odd Couple.” During this time, Pope also appeared on other Canadian TV shows, such as “A Girl’s Guide to Kissing and Other Nightmares in Teenland,” “Principal Takes a Holiday,” “I’ve Been Waiting for You,” “Disturbing Behavior,” “Night Man,” “Our Guys: Outrage at Glen Ridge” and “Aliens in the Wild, Wild West.”

A day after graduating from high school, Carly Pope discovered she won a role in the indie film “Cowboys and Aliens,” which was to be filmed in Eastern Europe. When she went back home, Carly enrolled at the University of British Columbia and studied for a semester. Carly’s performance on her debut film ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ led to other opportunities, such as a starring role in the feature film “A Cooler Climate.”

Carly Pope moved to the US six months after graduating from high school to pursue a Hollywood career. In 1999, Carly Pope landed her breakthrough role in the WB TV series “Popular.” For her work on the show, Pope was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Since then, Carly Pope has appeared on various TV shows, including “Trapped in a Purple Haze,” “Grosse Pointe,” “Hemingway vs. Callaghan,” “1st to Die,” “This Time Around,” “Jake 2.0,” “Double Bill,” “The Ranch” and “Tru Calling.” During this time, Carly Pope also appeared on various films, such as “The Glass House,” “Orange County,” “Window Theory,” and “Eighteen,” among others. Carly has also lent her voice in two episodes of the hit Disney TV series “Kim Possible.” By 2004, Carly Pope has been named one of Canada’s “Young Leaders.”

Carly Pope won a Leo award for ‘Best Supporting Performance’ for her work on the series “The Prosecutor” in 2004 followed by another Leo award for ‘Best Performance by a Female in a Short Drama’ after appearing “Sandra Gets Dumped” in 2005. Carly Pope won another award in 2005 – a ‘Women in Film & Video Vancouver’s Artistic Merit Award’ – for her performance in “The Hamster Cage.”

Other notable appearances of Carly Pope include a 15-episode role on “The Collector,” and appearances on “Dirt,” “The 4400,” “Californication,” “24: Redemption,” and “24.” In 2009, Carly Pope appeared on three films – “Kill Theory,” “Life is Hot in Cracktown” and “Stuntmen.”
